NuEPOS has many features suitable for convenience stores, or other general retail stores.
Short Dated Product Management
When re-ordering items from a supplier into a purchase order, you can specify expiration dates for products. With proper stock rotation, you can report on the likelihood of products that are reaching their shelf life.
You can also store batch codes if any items get recalled.
One of the best and most trusted ways of increasing the average transaction total is by implementing many special offers across the store. These can be as straightforward as mix and match, to two or more products that complement each other.
Offers can be limited by certain restrictions e.g. dates or time of day, loyalty customers only, certain stores etc. Offers can also be set to only work a limited number of times, great for buying a pallet of a product cheap and ensuring only those items are sold at a reduced rate.
Just like the large supermarket chains, create and design your own labels to stick on items that are fast approaching their shelf life date, or damaged items / missing items from a multipack.
Each label has a unique code that will only work once, meaning people cannot copy the label or peel it off to reuse it when in the store next.
Whereas special offers encourage customers to purchase more products in a typical sale, offer vouchers encourage customers to come back to the store to buy items again. They can easily print out of the receipt printer either separate or combined with the receipt, or use a dedicated voucher printer if you desire.
These are special vouchers that can be programmed to print out (or be sent at a later date by email / post / SMS) based on certain conditions. They can be programmed to only work when the customer does return based on another set of conditions. Excellent examples include encouraging people to buy own-branded products, or rewarding customers with a discount if they spend a large amount in the store.
